Bowling...

i have to write a post about this because i beat jared in bowling...131-82! I had like 3 strikes that night...this was another fun date we had...we cooked tacos, then went bowling, and then got ice cream at cold stones after!

JaCKsOn HoLE, WyOmINg!

so Jared and I thought it would be fun to go to Jackson Hole for the day and walk around the shops and then go to a hockey game....this was probably the funnest date ever! The drive was so pretty and we couldnt have had better weather....even though it was super cold, it was perfectly sunny and not a cloud in the sky. It took about an hour and half to drive there. When we left after the hockey game, it was 1 degree!! When we were walking to the car...i told jared "i really like you, but i cant hold your hand right now cause its super cold"...he agreed...we were laughing pretty hard! We literally went numb when we were walking to the car...BUT we had so much fun! here are some pictures that i took in the car on the way up to Jackson. The others are in a little park right in the middle of the shops. It was decorated so cute...they still had lights wrapped all around the trees.

so i saw these trees in rexburg decorated with christmas lights...after christmas break they were still up and i was so happy cause i had wanted to take pictures in front of them...i thought they were so cute! jared took one with me!


so when i got back to rexburg after christmas break this is what i came back to....my car under ALOT of snow....it took me an hour to get it out....my hands and face were freezing!

Let the Stress Begin....

so i started another semester at BYU-Idaho. it will be a busy one with work, being a fitness consultant, hard classes, and relief society president, and i cant forget to mention that im dating someone as well! i know if i have faith and do the things i am suppose to i will be able to have a good semester and be a good president....i am a little scared though! I will definitely post some pictures soon....i have lots to catch up on...

Exciting News...

so today i applied for GRADUATION! i cant believe it! its almost here and i hope time flys by the rest of the way...i will graduate this summer if everything goes as planned! sorry i dont have many pictures up...i will get better at this blogging stuff...especially over christmas break since i will be at home and not busy with school and work!

Counting Down the Days....

So this week is my last week of this semester. It will be pretty crazy with comprehensive finals, white glove, switching rooms, trying to still have fun, and PACKING TO GO HOME! I cant believe this semester will be over in a week....it is crazy how time just passes you by. It can keep on flying though cause in 2 semesters I will be graduating!!! I have 1 final wednesday, 1 final thurs, and 2 finals on fri...i could literally pull my hair out right now! The only thing that is keeping me going is knowing that I get to leave on friday afternoon to go home. I fly out early saturday morning and cant wait to get home! This morning I woke up to a ton of snow....stay tuned for pictures....

Venilatory and Lactate Threshold test!

so in my lab class for exercise physiology, i volunteered to be the test subject to test my venilatory and lactate threshold. i had to choose a pace that i could run at and maintain for an hour...( i was only on the treadmill for 20 minutes but it had to be something i could have done for an hour). i was running at 4.0mph and the treadmill was being inclined 1.5% every 3 minutes. i had nose plugs on and could only breathe through this mouth piece which was hooked up to a metabolic cart. i also had to do 2 finger pricks while running....it was actually kinda hard to have someone prick your finger and run at the same time. by the end of the test i was at an incline of 10%....it was pretty hard towards the end! the next day i had sores on the bottom of my gums from the mouth piece but it sure was worth it. it was really interesting to see all of my numbers at the end of my test. i am so mad i didnt take a picture of me hooked up to the machine, otherwise i would definitely have a picture with this post...so sorry!!!
