HaLLoWeeN and PrEtTY FALL CoLOrS

For halloween jared and i went to our ward party. We decided to have fun and be itunes gift cards. On halloween night we went to dinner and then came home and made caramel popcorn. Jared wanted to watch a SCARY movie, but that lasted all of 5 minutes because i got to scared and changed the movie! We didnt get any trick-or-treaters cause we live in an apartment complex.

Its been awhile since ive seen the trees this pretty and change colors....

So funny story...when i first went out to BYU-idaho it was hard to get use to cause it was so far away from home. My mom kept telling me "just dont date anyone from spokane washinton cause thats TOO far away". So it was kinda funny that i ended up falling in love with jared who is from washington and moving there right after we got married...BUT atleast its not spokane! We will be here about 7 more months until jared goes to graduate school...Here are a few pics of downtown seattle which is about 40 min away...

Honeymoon: SAN DIEGO, CA

We chose to go to San Diego, CA on our honeymoon. We rented a condo near the beach. We enjoyed relaxing on the beach, walking around the la jolla shops, san diego temple, a dinner cruise, and good food!

Another Chapter Closed.....

well GRADUATION is FINALLY over...the feeling was amazing knowing i accomplished something I have always wanted to accomplish! As that chapter in my life has closed another one is about to open and I am about to accomplish the next goal I had in life.....IM GETTING MARRIED IN 6 DAYS in the San Antonio Temple! Its crazy to think how fast life changes but I am excited for this new chapter in my life...I dont know what the best parts, hard parts, sad parts, or most exciting parts will be...BUT I know I have found someone who couldnt make me any happier and who I know I want to go through the rest of the chapters in my life with and for eternity!


my mom and dad came to graduation and i owe them a HUGE thanks for helping me get through it all!

Its been awhile....

so sorry i havent posted in a long time! my life is crazy but exciting right now. since my last posting I GOT ENGAGED!....i went home for a week break with jared to show him the wonderful state of texas...and then we had to go our separate ways for a few months while i finish my last semester at BYUI and he goes home to work for the summer before we get married. It has been a hard first week of school being apart from jared, starting my internship at world gym, and hard classes. Lets just say i already want this semester to be over with and i am counting down in my head already....(jared told me not to do that cause it will make time go by slower)...im trying so hard not to BUT...60 days of school left...last time i will count down for awhile...

a SURPRISE and EXCITING NEWS...

A SURPRISE...
so i've had a pretty stressful week with 3 hard tests. i studied so hard and didnt really do well on any of them. i barely got to spend time with jared this week cause i was so focused on school and trying to do my best. on saturday jared told me i had to be at this place at 12:00 saturday afternoon. i had no idea what he was up to. WELL, he surprised me with a facial! it felt so nice to relax and take my mind off of school for a bit. i love him and couldnt be any happier!


here is some EXCITING NEWS...well atleast for me...
I REGISTERED FOR MY LAST SEMESTER OF COLLEGE TONIGHT! i am so excited to finally be out of rexburg and done with school. i cant wait to start the next chapter of my life...

Jared and I had school off on monday so we went snowboarding at this place in rexburg. he had 2 friends come with us and one of them got us in for free...all we had to pay for were boot rentals which were $5! this was only the 2nd time snowboarding for both of us. we did pretty good for it only being our 2nd time and was quite fun i must say! we both had a hard time getting off the ski lift and even made each other fall a couple times....but as jared said..."i have fallen for you in so many ways"...i have fallen for him also in so many ways as well...

The BEST VaLeNtInE's DaY ever!

Starting on February 1st i left a reason of why i like jared in a different spot each day. i did this all the way until february 14th. on friday february 13th, i surprised jared when he got off work with dinner and dessert. i had the table all decorated with rose petals and hugs and kisses. i was pretty proud of myself because i cooked a pork tenderloin(something i have never done before). it turned out really good and jared loved it. im trying to cook different things and practice for when i am a wife and mom someday! on february 14th i gave him a picture frame with a bunch of different pictures of us on our different dates! i had so much fun doing all of this for jared. here are pictures of what i did for jared for valentine's day....



So on February 14th jared had to work from 4-7. he ended up getting off at 5:30 so it worked out perfect! he told me he had a few things he needed to do by himself that day. he had something up his sleeve apparently! my friend and her husband were out of town for the weekend so he asked if he could do something over there for me. he told me to be at her house by 7:30pm. here are some pictures of what he did for me....

when i got to the door there was this "game plan sign". it said "inside you will petal your way through a trail of flowery reasons of why i like you".....there were roses at each reason with a total of a dozen roses....jared was holding the last rose and said that all of these reasons arent becasue he likes me but because he loves me....i love him to....

this was the table we ate dinner at. he had it all decorated so cute. he made beef fajitas and then went to this really cute cupcake place called the coca bean and got cupcakes for dessert.

A Trip to Salt Lake....

so jared and i went to salt lake a couple weekends ago. it was a fun weekend..we spent the night at my grandma and grandpas. we had a big friday breakfast and then we went to the gateway to do a little shopping. we also visited steven and lacey and of course carter! he had a blast with them. we went skiing with steven and of course he was crazy on the slopes. jared and steven pretty much just laughed at me everytime i fell! im so glad they are atleast 4 hours from me and i can go visit anytime. it was a much needed break for jared and i. we always love getting out of rexburg!

Bowling...

i have to write a post about this because i beat jared in bowling...131-82! I had like 3 strikes that night...this was another fun date we had...we cooked tacos, then went bowling, and then got ice cream at cold stones after!

JaCKsOn HoLE, WyOmINg!

so Jared and I thought it would be fun to go to Jackson Hole for the day and walk around the shops and then go to a hockey game....this was probably the funnest date ever! The drive was so pretty and we couldnt have had better weather....even though it was super cold, it was perfectly sunny and not a cloud in the sky. It took about an hour and half to drive there. When we left after the hockey game, it was 1 degree!! When we were walking to the car...i told jared "i really like you, but i cant hold your hand right now cause its super cold"...he agreed...we were laughing pretty hard! We literally went numb when we were walking to the car...BUT we had so much fun! here are some pictures that i took in the car on the way up to Jackson. The others are in a little park right in the middle of the shops. It was decorated so cute...they still had lights wrapped all around the trees.
